Cuadernos.info

Cuadernos.info is a scientific journal, whose articles are subjected to double blind peer review (double-blind peer review), which publishes research on mediated communication in Latin America. It seeks to disseminate theories, empirical evidence, and methodological developments regarding the media, professional practices, audiences, institutions, technologies, and the effects of communication in the social, political, economic, and cultural spheres. It covers journalism, institutional, audiovisual, multimedia communication and advertising. It is aimed at academics, researchers, communicators and professionals interested in communication and the media in Latin America.

It is a disciplinary and multidisciplinary publication published every four months (January, May and September) by the Faculty of Communications of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Founded in 1984 as a professional dissemination magazine called Cuadernos de Información, in 2013 it became Cuadernos.info, to reflect its new identity as a fully scientific journal. It publishes works in Spanish, English and Portuguese, and has a printed and electronic version.

Cuadernos.info It is an open access journal (open access) that offers its production entirely online for the entire scientific community. Likewise, it does not establish any charge during the entire editorial process for the publication of the articles, including the scientific review and the layout of the same.
