Art Notebooks

Cuadernos de Arte is an annual visual arts magazine, founded in 1996. It was created with the purpose of encouraging the production, reflection, and dissemination of visual arts in Chile and Latin America.

The magazine, in turn, is aimed at theorists and artists, but also at the general public interested in visual arts.

Each of the issues of Cuadernos de Arte is based on a different theme, which is selected year after year by the editorial team according to its relevance and contingency, not only within the UC School of Art, but also for production and reflection. contemporary art in general.

Cuadernos de Arte currently has four clearly differentiated sections: articles, conversations, reviews, and artistic intervention. To date, 20 copies have been published (June 2016). As of issue 9, the magazine is covered by the Cultural Donations Law.
