Resumen

This article contains a legal report on the extension of the scope of the third paragraph of article 635 of the Code of Civil Procedure relating to the enforcement of judgments issued by arbitrators. Thus, the article begins by offering a historical, normative and jurisprudential analysis of the nature of voluntary arbitration in Chile, to then carry out an exegesis of the aforementioned normative body, arriving at conclusions of a practical nature on the normative expression that is analysed.
