Summary: This article investigates the contributions of Zubiri's philosophy to religious experience. Contemporary man cries out for a God felt in history, less doctrinal and more experienced. Xavier Zubiri is no stranger to this concern. We see from his early texts to his mature thinking “notes” that contribute to the resolution of such a fundamental problem, and this, in our opinion, requires a new approach to the topic of the body. Here we take a tour of his work where we point out the milestones of his philosophy for a new vision of the body and the philosophical and also theological repercussions that this has. This vision is granted by the body as a principle of actuality. The sentient and felt body is the current “here” of man's religation to the power of the real. Abstract: This article researches on the contribution of Zubiri's philosophy to religious experience. Contemporary men aspire to a God that is present in history, less doctrinal and more experienced. Xavier Zubiri is not estranged from this concern. We found through his texts, from the early to the mature, thoughts on this fundamental problem and that, from our perspective, call for a new look to the topic of the body. In this article we cover the interior subjects of his work, where we show the milestones of his philosophy for a new vision of the body and the philosophical and theological consequences that it conveys. This view is granted by the body as a principle of actuality. The body that feels and is felt is the current “here” of the man's “rebinding” to the power of the real.
