Mente masculina y mente femenina: Edith Stein y la Neurociencia

Summary

In the current contributions of neuroscience, we find many new studies about brain sex differences, its relationship with sex-typical behaviour and its development by factors as genetics and social environments. The matter about this differences’ origin stays as an open question, as well as the problem of the psychological founds of female and male behaviour. In the Edith Stein’s thought, we found an answer to those questions, in addition to a psychological-metaphysical description of sexual male and female’s specificity, based in its developmental general tendencies. By a comparison of both contributions, a fruitful dialogue for the knowledge of this matter, searching for forward steps about the brain-mind relationship and psychological-spiritual life and the sex-typical behaviours.
