THE CHURCH'S CONTRIBUTION TO THE PREVENTION OF ABUSE: Good ecclesial practices for the care of the most vulnerable

Summary
Since several decades, Catholic Church is taking actions all over the world in order to remove and prevent sexual abuses in its spheres. These initiatives more every day assume the standards accepted by the international community. In this article it is suggested that the Church, based on clear evangelical principles, may contribute to prevention and elimination of sexual abuses. Furthermore, this contribution would reflect its own ecclesial identity and would strengthen the Church in order to generate original best practices that eventually foster its preventive efforts in its spheres and could also be used by other organizations. The article suggests some of these possible best practices.
