What is open science?
La ciencia abierta es un movimiento que pretende hacer la ciencia más abierta, accesible, eficiente, democrática y transparente.
The term open science refers to a general concept that combines various
movements and practices in order that the knowledge, methods, data and
evidence of a scientific nature is freely available and accessible to all,
increase scientific collaborations and the exchange of information for the benefit of
science and society, and the process of creating and disseminating scientific knowledge is opened
to social agents that do not belong to the institutionalized scientific community.
Ciencia abierta se entiende como una noción constituida, al menos, por los siguientes elementos clave: acceso abierto, datos abiertos, código abierto/software libre y hardware abierto, infraestructuras de la ciencia abierta, evaluación abierta, recursos educativos abiertos, participación abierta de los agentes sociales, apertura a la diversidad de los conocimientos ( apertura a los sistemas de conocimientos indígenas y la apertura a todos los conocimientos e investigaciones académicas).
