Summary
One of the objectives of the “Workplace Violence in the Health Sector” survey is to investigate the factors that may contribute to workplace violence in the health sector in several countries around the world for the adoption of appropriate public policies. Although English is a universal language, in practice it creates limitations for its application, especially in Latin American countries. The purpose of this research is to validate the content and construct so that the survey can be applied in countries whose official language is Spanish. Qualitative and quantitative techniques were used to validate the instrument, with expert review the semantics and language were validated. Through Cronbach's Alpha of 0.96, its reliability can be confirmed to measure workplace violence in the health sector in Spanish-speaking countries.
