Summary

Clean intermittent catheterization (CLI) has quickly been incorporated into urological practice; it has been the technique of choice in patients with spinal cord injury and also in those with neurogenic bladder. The nurse is in charge of guiding and guiding the patient and family in the catheterization technique, promoting self-worth and guiding them in the search for solutions. This study aims to describe the work carried out by the nurses of the Children's Rehabilitation Institute, in a group of patients with an indication for clean intermittent catheterization.
