Summary

Here we try to make some entries to Gabriela Mistral's work Recados (Messages) by considering the strong feeling of foreignness the poetess experienced and her work general tendency towards a writing of the brevity. The book is a way of knowing things and knowing ourselves in them, of discovering ourselves; it is a private tone letter and a public interest letter that talks about things of the world structuring them with an organizing lyric presence of reality.
