Summary
This paper proposes a model for the simultaneous analysis of aesthetic phenomena in what are considered two wholly different, if not antagonistic, manifestations: art and the quotidian. We will explore how the aesthetic dimension concerns not only the extraordinary cases of artistic expression that have captured the attention of practically all aesthetic theory, but the ordinary, everyday phenomenon as well, systematically ignored by aesthetics until today.
