ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor IDentifier) is an international, non-profit organization that offers a unique identification code for authorship of scientific publications. It is requested by important international publishers and, at our university, it is a requirement for applying to competitions of the Vice-Rector's Office for Research.
It consists of 16 digits, which form a unique persistent code associated with each author registered on the platform. https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1121-0698
Members of the UC Community can link their ORCID profile with the university Repository. This allows the Repository to display data and publications that have UC affiliation. See more information here.
Also in Libraries we offer the workshop: Creation of profile for a researcher in ORCID. You can request it here.
