Summary
The Millon Adolescent Clinical Inventory (MACI) is presented through a brief theoretical revision and the description of three empiric studies done in Chile. Study l, done with 300 school adolescents without mental health problems, shows significant differences considering the subjects' sex and age. Study 2, through the assessment of 74 adolescents consulting for mental heallh problems and their non.consulting shows MACI's capability to differentiate between these two groups. Study 3 assesses 62 adolescents with social adaptation problems and shows MACI's capability to differentiate between these youngsters and their normal peers. These results are discussed considering the contributions this test may bring to increase the knowledge about adolescents in our country.
