Today in Nursing and in health in general we seek to improve the quality of care provided, teamwork reemerges as one of the fundamental strategies for achieving total quality. This article introduces the concept of teamwork, describes the process of forming a work team and analyzes aspects that facilitate it, as well as the difficulties for (multidisciplinary) teamwork in health.
