This essay reviews some aspects of Art in Nietzsche considering the overemphasized role it assumes in culture. It is the main stimulus of life and the greatest creative force. Sensitivity, corporality, rapture, are aspects of the human that channel their power through the work of art. Nietzsche feels he is living in a pessimistic and sick age that can only be revitalized by the power of creation. From Art culture can be developed, science restrained, and perhaps Art can also give birth to a new religion. The ultimate expression of the will power is the Great Style that is superposed with the Classic Style, the Classic Nihilism, the Superman and the Hero. Zarathustra is the poet, artist, philosopher and hero that incarnates these values.
